Fosshótel Reykholt is a 3 star tourist class cultural themed hotel. The hotel is ideal for guests who want to relax in the countryside, enjoy some reading and to extend their knowledge of Icelandic cultural heritage.

The hotel has 53 rooms and offers a variety of rooms with shower/WC.

29 standard rooms with shower/WC.

24 superior „Wellness“ rooms with bathtub/WC.

Family rooms and a beautiful honeymoon suite called the Freyja suite.

The hotel also features the restaurant and bar Valholl, library, outdoor hot tubs and wellness centre.

How to get there:
Driving from South: Take road no. 1, direction Akureyri. Just before the Borgarnes bridge turn right on to road no. 50 towards Hvanneyri/Reykholt and finally take the exit to road no. 518 towards Reykholt/Húsafell.

Driving from North: Take road no. 1, direction Reykjavík and through the town of Borgarnes. Turn to the left on to road no. 50 just after the Borgarnes bridge towards Hvanneyri/Reykholt and finally take the exit to road no. 518 towards Reykholt/Húsafell.

The hotel is a grey colour 2 story building, located behind the two churches.
