About: (Description)
The tub is right outside the town Húsavík. The tub is next to a well around 500 m from the road. This tub was set up by few individuals from Húsavík who use this tub for Psoriasis patients in the area. The water keeps the skin smooth and is has been said to keep the conditions under control. The tub is made from iron and is 1.44 m long, 6.8 m wide and 0.6 m deep. The tub can have 15 to 20 in it at the same time. The water comes from the well through a hose and is regulated with thermostatic mixing tab. There are changing facilities in a container next to the tub but there is no shower or toilet.
How to get there:
Take road no. 1 from Akureyri to exit to road no. 85 to Húsavík. Húsavík is about 45 km from that exit by road no. 85
