Kirkjufell, (“Church mountain”) (463 m) an impressive mountain, climbable but difficult and tiring because of rocks. One of the most beautiful mountains on Snæfellsnes. Called “Sugarloaf” by the Danes.

How to get there:
Take road no. 54 from Borgarnes direction Stykkishólmur. After about 65 km drive take exit to road no. 56 to Stykkishólmur. At the end of that road go to Grundarfjörður by road no. 54 again.
