Kálfshamarsvík, a small bay, north of which is Kálfshamarsnes. Around 1900 there was a fishing station there, and a small settlement, but it was finally abandoned around the time of the depression, 1940. Interesting basalt columns. Signposts bearing the names of the buildings and inhabitants and much other information have been put up in various places in Kálfshamarvík. The signs rest on basalt columns

How to get there:
Take road no. 745 from Skagaströnd direction North. Kálfshamarsvík is about 24 km from Skagaströnd. There is a sign by the road down to Kálfshamarsvík
