About: (Description)
Árhús offers an accommodation in cottages located on the east bank on the Ytri Rangá-river in the small village of Hella. We are open all year round for individuals and groups.

There are 28 cottages and a large camping ground with good facilities and ideal for family reunions, group camping or weary travelers passing our way.

An ideal place to stay and take daytours to Landmannalaugar, Hekla, Þórsmörk, Seljalandsfoss, Skógar and Westman Islands.

How to get there:
Approximately 93 km south of Reykjavík, 1 hour drive.

Reykjavík –> Hveragerði –> Selfoss –> Hella

Take road no. 1 from Reykjavík to Selfoss. Carry on on road no. 1 through Selfoss to direction Vík. Hella is also by road no. 1 about 36 km from Selfoss.
