About: (Description)
Bjarteyjarsandur is close to many of the districts natural and historical sites. We offer guided tours for groups and individuals, special program for youngsters and an unusual cultural hour in an old barn. An art gallery is open all year round. Good facilities for groups. Also two cottages, 1x4 persons (2 bedrooms) and 1x6 persons (3 bedrooms). In the neighbourhood: Swimming pool, golf course, fishing and a hotel.

How to get there:
Nearest town is Reykjavík. You drive on road nr. 1 from Reykjavík in the direction of Akureyri. You drive through the tunnel and further in the direction of Borgarnes. 12 km from the tunnel you turn to right on road nr. 47. Drive along road 47, pass a church with the name Saurbær on the right hand side and pass a patrol station with the name Ferstikla on the left. 5 km further you turn to left to the farm.
