The six bedrooms (former dormitory) on the top floor now accommodates 12 guests. On the middle floor is a separate two bedroom flat with sitting room, bath and kitchen. On the same floor is a lounge – a rather spacious room - where belongings and furniture of the poet Guðmundur Ingi, former principal of the school, form parts of the interior. On the ground floor there is a big kitchen, a dining room and a conference room. Accommodation is for 17 guests in beds - but there is lot of space for mattresses where guests can sleep in sleeping bags. From comments written in the guest book one can assume that this place is ideal for hiking groups, family gatherings, meetings, workshops etc. In the past months the steering committee has, with help of friends and benefactors, helped to restore the run-down building.

How to get there:
From Ísafjörður tke road no. 61 about 3 km to exit to road no. 60. Follow road nor. 60 about 15 km to Holt
