Hotel Flokalundur is a small, family-run summer-hotel, located in Vatnsfjordur, on the south coast of the West fjords, Iceland. The hotel is located nearby some of Iceland’s most beautiful natural sites, such as Latrabjarg, Raudasandur, the waterfall Dynjandi and the island Flatey. It is within easy distance from towns and villages of the West fjords, f.ex. Isafjordur (116 km north), Patreksfjordur (61 km west), Talknafjordur (62 km west), Bildudalur (45 km west), Holmavik (150 km east) and Budardalur (187 km south). Furthermore, it is only 6 km from Brjanslaekur, where the ferry Baldur stops.
The hotel is located in quiet surroundings and within a walking distance you can find the unspoiled nature of the West fjords, geothermal areas, a swimming pool, a small shop, gas station and a restaurant. The excellent location of the hotel makes it a perfect place to stay during your visit to West fjords.

How to get there:
Take the ferry Baldur from Stykkishólmur direct to Brjánslækur.

By car from Borgarnes take road no. 1 direction Akureyri to exit to road no. 60 to Búðardalur. Follow road no. 60 about 230 km to exit to road no. 62 to Brjánslækur and Hótel Flókalundur
