How to get there:
By sea:
The ferry “Sæfari” departs from Dalvík at 09:00, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Estimated sailing time to Grímsey is about 3 hours. The ferry departs from Grímsey at 16:00.

By flight:
Air Iceland flys to Grímsey 3 days a week in the winter time. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from Akureyri at 13:00. In the summer time, from June 8th to August 17th, 7 days a week, Mondays - Fridays and Sundays at 19:30 and on Saturdays at 17:00.
