Opening Hours:
From May 1 to September 21 we are open every day for individuals and groups. We welcome all foreign and Icelandic guests who choose quality, comfort and excellent service. From Sept 22 to April 30 hotel Skogar is open exclusively for organised groups and societies.

About: (Description)
Hotel Skogar is situated at Skogar and 5 minutes walk to the world famous Skogarfoss waterfall under the east Eyjafjöll Mountains in the Rangarvellir district in South Iceland.

There are many interesting places to visit and trips to be taken in the surrounding area which we are happy to arrange for our guests. There is a museum, an extensive hiking area to explore, horseback riding and snowmobiling on Myrdalsjökull glacier.

Fantastic bird watching at nearby Dyrhólaey ocean cliffs

How to get there:
From Selfoss take road no.1 direction east to Höfn. After about 97 km drive you will see Skógar.
