About: (Description)
The hot spring was built in 1956 and is 12.5 m long, 4.9 m wide and the depth is between 0.9 to 1.3 m. The heat in the hot spring is 26°C. The changing room is dived into two and applicable for 3 persons on each side but there are no showers on the premises.
This area is a working area for Dalabyggð Municipal District Heating Utility.
How to get there:
The natural hot spring is located at Reykjadalur in Dalir. From main road no. 1 you take a turn at road no. 60 and continue about 20 km. From road no. 60 you have to follow a gravel road for approximately 2.2. km
