Hafnarberg - Sea-Cliffs - Reykjanes Iceland
By road number 425 between Hafnir & Grindavík,
Region:
Reykjanes
About: (Description)
Sea-cliffs with many seabirds. South of the cliffs, the New World meets the Old World, geologically speaking.
The European and American plates come together, and the line of their meeting "comes ashore" at this point, and there are many signs of geological disturbance through the ages.
There is a bridge that is possible to cross the gap between the two plates.
