Þingeyri, (pop. 320) a village which is the oldest trading place in the Ísafjarðarsy´sla county.
Service station, medical centre, store, excellent campsite and very interesting iron foundry museum.

How to get there:
From Ísafjörður take road no. 61 for about 3 km to exit to road no. 60 direct to Þingeyri about 45 km.

From Brjánslækur take road no. 62 for about 6 km to exit to road no. 60 direct to Þingeyri about 67 km
