Hraunfossar Waterfall

Hraunfossar, (“Lava falls”) along the northern bank of the Hvítá river gorge. Springwater flows from under the lava for about 1 km, cascading in numerous waterfalls between rocks and trees into the river. A beautiful and unusual sight.
