About: (Description)
The Hostel is in one of the oldest houses in the town and has been completely renovated. On the Hostels own boat you can visit an ornithologist´s paradise, something never to be forgotten. You will see Cormorants diving, Puffins burrowing and Kittiwakes nesting on their basalt cliff haven. You will explore the island of Purkey, once a thriving sheep farming community but sadly, a thing of the past. Fishing? No problem. You can drop your line over the side and presto! fish ready for barbequeing back on the Hostels patio.

How to get there:
Take road no. 54 from Borgarnes direction Stykkishólmur. About 65 km from Borgarnes take exit to road no. 56 still direction Stykkishólmur. Follow that road to exit to road 54 again to Stykkishólmur.
